There's no guarantee Kaepernick would have done any better. He hasn't played in a long time now and his skills are undoubtedly rusty. Plus, he's made himself a distraction that teams don't want or need.
LMFAO! You gotta be a troll. Kap's not employed because he's a marketing disaster. He definitely is better than Hoyer and would be better than half the current starters in the league once he got into shape.
Pardon me while I roll on the floor laughing uproariously. Brian Hoyer showed me last night in a Half of Football he could not lead The New England Patriots to more than 3 Points against The Reigning and Defending NFL World Champions. He did not prove that he was better than Colin Kaepernik. Kaepernik has a wider skills set but has 4 Years of Rust from not playing Quarterback in an Actual NFL Game.
He showed conclusively that he still is what he has been throughout his career....a reliable professional that can operate in a number of systems, be a good teammate while on the bench and start at a moment's notice.
Kap has not played since 2016.....a season when he put together a QB record of 1-11... and people forget that the "kneeling" thing only began when he was called out for SITTING on the bench during pre-game warmups, listening to his headphones instead of participating in game prep (not just the Anthem) with his teammates.
Kap chose his fate. He chose his "cause" over his team, over the game and over his job. Good for him. But for him and his supporters to say the whole world should bend to him actually diminishes that cause... He can't simultaneously claim that "some things are bigger than football" and then scold teams for not giving him the chance to be a good little soldier.
This is just real life. The working world is full of hot shots with big ideas and boundless passion that float from job to job because they cannot work within a company's group environment. Many people who can afford boats and high-end sports cars opt to put that money toward vacations and Toyotas because they don't want to deal with the headaches that go along with that ownership.

What are the odds Brian Hoyer will lead his team to the Super Bowl ?
Any QB in the NFL (and most not in the NFL) is better than Krappernick.
or Mullins in SF. I know, it's a shame.

No, last night he didn't. Neither did Stidham.

Kaepernick is poison as he showed last week again when he declared that the NFL's efforts at reconciling with SJ was phony.
