Which one has the biggest map? I mean, RDR's map is very big, not MASSIVELY big, but huge. Is TES IV: Oblivion's map bigger? Smaller?
I'm considering getting Oblivion for my PC, as I only have 25 bucks, and would prefer getting it, playing it, and getting Skyrim on Christmas, instead of just saving up and waiting 4 weeks of boredness.... (No school, so it's pretty boring.)
Which one do you say is better? I know it's a totally strange thing, comparing a sandbox style game to an RPG? I slightly prefer RPG's, but if they have a huge world to explore, that makes it way better... in my opinion of course :P
Actualización:lol... Oblivion for now. Definitely. I give a crap about the graphics. I play Minecraft.... lol :P I just care about creativity, good storyline, and a huge daaaaaaaaaamn world.... and since Oblivion offers thousands more than that, I'll get Skyrim on Christmas then.
Actualización 3:also... My computer has these specs:
Intel Core i7 2630QM
Nvidia GT 540M w/ 1GB
5'400rpm 640GB HDD....
Can I run it on max? Or is this too much for a laptop not specified for gaming?

like the first awnserer i woudl recommend oblivion
red dead redemption can be finished fairly quickly
oblivion on the other hand is so vast with so many things to do 200 hours in and you still havent seen or done it all
and lets not forget the thousands of mods for it
and just because its a useless bit of trivia
the biggest landmass in a game is still tes 2 daggerfall with 161,000 square miles
tes 1 and 2 are free to download from bethesda's website but before you get too excited they are from 1994 and 1996 so dont expect oblivion level graphics and do expect a brutal difficult level
in short
buy oblivion 5th anniversary for pc and let oblivion take over your live for the next month
edit : you can run oblivion just fine on that machine of yours
skyrim would be a bit more tricky think medium
Oblivion Map Size
Oblivion is like a sandbox with amazing stories and quests.
I think Ob's map is bigger but I'm not entirely for sure. It definitely is very, very big though and there's more than enough to keep you busy until Xmas. Anyway, I still prefer Ob to Skyrim and I've been playing it since '06. I find new stuff occasionally XD
i would go with oblivion for now. whats the point of having all that freedom if there is nothing to do with it. with oblivion there are hundreds of dungeons, caves, ruins, and towers you can find all over the province of Cyrodil. it would easily... EASILY keep you busy until Christmas in which you can get skyrim.
of course i must warn you now, once you get skyrim you will be kept busy for... ( and i'm not making this up either) months and months as there is just so much content packed into it not ot mention the DLC that is come out for it soon. not to mention if you get skyrim for the PC you can create your own quests or storylines... heck you could make your own town!!
Red Dead Redemption is bigger in scale, but Oblivion has way more content in it. However, I would really recommend The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
