Ok I'm trying to set up my mothers wifi. Her computer is a HP Pavilion ze4900. The wifi connector is a Linksys Wireless-G, model wap54g.
She wiped out all of her files and I think she may have wiped the the detection for finding wifi signals. but I don't know what she's done for sure. I've been searching the web but can't find anything that's helped.
I'm not used to her computer (btw its a laptop) and mine just automatically connects.
I feel like I'm going after a needle in a haystack lookin on the web. And trying to figure it out on my own is leaving me nowhere
Can some one help? I was hoping to get it set up for her b-day.

I would get the Linksys installation CD and try to install it....
If that doesn't work, check for the Windows Update!
But before that, try the CD!
Ze4900
If shes deleted wireles LAN in some way, the driver is delivered by windows updates, check for updates now.
