I have an ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard and AMD FX-8150 processor with all settings in the BIOS set to auto. This includes settings for overclocking which are all set to auto.
I am confident building a PC etc, but when it comes to overclocking this is something I really do not have a clue about. I was wondering with the BIOS overclock settings being on AUTO would it be OK to use AMD Overdrive and use the autoclock feature? I just don't want to risk changing the settings myself but I also don't want AMD Overdrive to break anything either!
Setup:
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
AMD FX-8150
ASUS HD 6950 Direct CU II - 2GB
Corsair CPU water cooling. - idle at 20 degrees.
Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

you should be fine and it might not be the best OC ever but it will defiantly get the job done. im not sure if they set the auto setting so you wouldn't need a water cooler but i would advise you if you have worked in th BIOS before that to get the best OC i would always want to do it my self.
