Goodbye Blue Sky. The great attraction for Bohemian Rhapsody is the operatic section, Brian May hitting those notes, silly lyrics. Magnifico!
Pink Floyd has more solid of a song. More consistent, not using great gimmicks to get you to listen for the next few minutes. Just pretty, with solid lyrics.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Bohemian Rhapsody
Pink Floyd were a much more influential band, i like Queen but they didn't bring half of what Pink Floyd bought to music, their experimentation with music was what pioneered that genre of music. I think Good Bye Blue Sky was a much more significant song compared to bohemian rhapsody and the begining bit with the little kid saying "look mummy, theres a airplane in the sky" is great
Bohemian Rhapsody !
I might get some crap for this but I prefer Goodbye Blue Sky. I don't really like Bohemian Rhapsody that much.
Goodbye Blue Sky, I love Queen, but Bohemian Rhapsody is so overrated and overplayed. There are so many Queen songs.
Don't like a single song off of the Wall, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" was killed for me by classic rock radio, which I was imprudent enough to listen to constantly.
Of the two, I'd say "Bohemian Rhapsody". Much more structured and innovative.
However, I'd say the better comparison would be "Dogs" or "The Prophet's Song"...I suppose that's just an opinion, though.
Goodbye Blue Sky if we are only counting Bohemian's first 50 sec
Queen's Bohwemian Rhapsody.
