I found a taichi class next to where I live and I have some ideas taking it but I feel I would be waisting my time but I want to use kung fu in my Mixed Martial arts.
Is Taichi any good in comparison to Muay Thai and Karate in other words has a taichi practitioner ever beaten a muay thai or karate fighter?
Also is there a way I can incorporate taichis techniques with MMA like the punches and kicks?
I've seen taichi be used in full contact fights but I'm not sure about it is there anyone who can answer my questions?

Foremost, I'd say go and talk to them. Ask them if they teach the martial aspects of the art. It's all fine and dandy for us to tell you to go for it, but if the school offers it as wholly and solely internal, then our opinions are worthless.
If they do teach the martial aspects, just go and check it out dude? Go and watch a class. Take a trial class if it's offered. If the price is right, even attend class for a few months. I read somewhere that you are or have been doing some boxing, and it sounds like you're a fan of combative sports, so you obviously know at least a little something about fighting and martial arts. So, my advice is to just kind of go and figure it out for yourself. If it looks good, if the instruction appears solid, then pursue it at least a little bit, and see if it doesn't make you a better fighter.
Although, if you don't mind me saying, I'd also advise you that if you want to become a professional fighter, worry less about styles and more about just getting out there and getting started. Finding any school of any art that offers any full contact, and just get to the action.
I know a guy who fancies himself as a fighter, and wants to get some matches under his belt. But he is constantly changing disciplines and dojos and schools of thought, and so because of that, even though we've been training for basically the same length of time, I'm light years ahead of him. I don't say that to be cocky, but only to illustrate my above point. Despite the fact that we started training a few years back, together in boxing, his constant flip flopping and indecision has made him lose precious training time while between schools, and has gotten him rather scatter brained about his fighting.
You're of course welcome to do as you please, but you want to fight? I say you get in any solid school, and start building a base. You can supplement it later. I don't know how far along you are with boxing, but from what I had read, it didn't sound like you were too deep into it.
Best of luck though, with whatever path you follow.

Tai Chi Vs Karate
Tai Chi VS Karate, Muay Thai and MMA i an interesting debate.
Tai Chai take a long time to learn as does traditional forms of Karate and Muay Thai. MMA encompasses every aspect of martial arts and traditional wrestling.
The bottom line about Tai Chi versus other fighting systems is that it will not perform well. Modern and successful fighters learn wrestling and grappling as well as Judo and Jiu Jitsu and striking techniques from Karate and Kick Boxing and Muay Thai.
Tai Chi alone will fail MISERABLY against a multi-talented mixed martial artist. That is why you NEVER see someone using Tai Chi in competitive fighting arenas.
If you want to learn self defence then Tai Chi is NOT for you.
If you want to enjoy a traditional martial art then Tai Chai may be for you. It will NOT, however teach you how to fight effectively in the street or against other fighters of differing styles.
If you are looking to use it in the near future you would be wasting your time...
Tai Chi Chuan is an OUTSTANDING martial art but...
It takes a VERY LONG TIME to become proficient!
My guess would be that you will not be able to use it very well until you have been practicing it for AT LEAST a decade.
Tai Chi Chuan is a life long study.
BTW: Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art. Tai Chi is not.
Tai Chi wouldn't do so hot I am afraid, simply because people have watered it down to it's fitness benefits, making it more of an exercise instead of a martial art.
If you have the intention to fight, you'd better not take Taiji which is for life long practise. It is just like other routines, the principle is not to show off, not to bully. It is for mental discipline. The masters seldom use their kungfu to show off or fight or compete. If you fight with them,I am almost sure you will lose.We have a master in our school.I have never heard any one ever gained over him.If you don't believe me you can come to see for yourself.

The better fighter would win. Styles don't fight, only people can, the outcome of a fight is determined by the practitioner, not the style.
tai chi is exercise for old people. stop wasting your time. it 2010! MMA is the way to go.
