There are many, many believers in Scripture who were quite rich. Job, Abraham, David, Solomon, and many others. Money didn't keep them out. But FAITH delivered them.
Forget about what the Anglican church teaches. It's the BIBLE that matters. In the story of the Rich Young Ruler in Mark 10:17-31, Jesus was getting the man to see that he was a sinner. He was not telling him that giving away all of his possessions was the key to entering heaven (although giving money to support the work of ministry AFTER one is saved will result in eternal rewards in heaven).
Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).
The bible says nothing about being rich and having money as a sin and that it prevents people going to heaven.
(1Tim 6:10) speaks of the LOVE of money as the root of all evil.
Rich people provide jobs and income for people to live so how can that be wrong?
Many wealthy and rich people work hard for their money and live good moral lives.
Yes some rich people can live immoral and evil lifestyles but so can poor people as well.
(Matt 19:23) Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Was Jesus saying all rich people were corrupt and evil and would not enter the kingdom?
Answer: No. Also its possible he was referring to worldly rich people who had no interest in God and the afterlife but only in this world.
Sometimes it can be hypocritical for some churches to take that expression out of context and use it on the rich when we see some of the wealth and fortunes they have accumulated in this world through tithing's, money donations, and property assets.
Rich, poor, and the average people of this world all need to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and have their sins forgiven through him if they want eternal life in heaven.
They don't understand the truth of God's word, remember that Jesus said '' you can't slave for God and riches; also the Scriptures state only a total of 144000 in total wold be chosen to reign with Jesus as joint heirs.
The quote is slightly misquoted. The Bible gives the quote first (Jesus) and He didn't say it's impossible, although that is implied.
It's not a sin to have money, especially if it's earned in an honest way, but we are not to let money have us!!!!!! In other words, we are not to rely on money instead of on God our true Provider.
Mary said, "He hath filled the hungry with good things but the RICH HE HATH SENT EMPTY AWAY" (Luke 1:53)
Actually, it NOT IMPOSSIBLE for a rich man to enter the kinGDOM BECAUSE WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE (Matthew 19:26)
Jesus said, "It's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven" "It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19: 23 & 24)
Once again this is proof that this generation does not know the Word of God at all, even though they think they do.
Scriptures does NOT teach it is IMPOSSIBLE, that is what the Doctrine of the Nicolaitan Teaches. Scriptures teach it is HARDER for a Rich person to enter into Heaven, and that is TRUE, Scriptures does NOT teach it is IMPOSSIBLE like Nicolaitan's like to teach.

Only the Catholic Church has the fullness of truth.

Because Jesus said it.....or something close to that
He said it easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get to heaven
Because to get, and stay rich, you have to screw other people
Because they don't know the actual scripture in the Bible.
a rich man asked Jesus what he needed to do to be saved. He told him to give hims wealth to the poor. Matrhew 25:40 give to the poor??
