While installing Windows 8 from a DVD we need to change the Boot option to Legacy from UEFI. Now, once, the Operating System installaled, let's say we change the Boot Option back to UEFI. Will the Hard Disk boot in UEFI mode even if the OS was installed in Legacy?

You should not have to change to legacy to install Windows 8. Win 8 has full support for UEFI!

If you install in Legacy and then switch to UEFI, your OS won't boot and advise you to go to repair mode.
