Okay so a while back I put Windows 8 on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop, And when I put a disk in the disk drive, It does nothing! I went to control panel and Saw that it says this. "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" Im not sure how to fix this. Is there a Driver I need to install? I don't want to talk it to geek squad so HELP!

Open the Device Manager, and look for the designation, "CD-ROM", click on the plus sign, next to it, it will then open a menu. Click on the device, and chose proprieties. You can then remove the driver, you then reboot, and windows will install the proper drivers from the firmware.
